Simple, affective good quality

Small enough to not get in the way but it really is bright enough and easy to fit.
Super helpful when writing out the TORS on a gloomy night with the current local authorities desire to turn of the street lights at night

The Peli Versabrite Torch is a valuable addition to my daily uniform kit. It clips easily and securely onto my shirt loop and is light enough that I barely even notice it is there. The clips provides a good grip preventing it from falling off when I lean forward. The LED light flips out easily to provide a light source that can easily be maneuvered to the best position, enabling me to either focus the light at the floor when I am walking, or to move it upwards when I am looking around for people, equipment or at my general surroundings. This is of particular use if I am working in a dark location and need both of my hands free to treat a patient, negating the need for a handheld torch.

With recent changes resulting in street lights being switched off at night my Peli Torch has proved invaluable in providing me with a source of light whilst walking from my ambulance to the location of my patient. With a huge amount of kit to carry finding a free hand to use a handheld torch is problematic. With my Peli Torch I can now simple flip the LED light on, position it at an appropriate angle and my path is illuminated sufficiently that I can safely pave my way.

I have also found my Peli Torch to be of great assistance whilst treating a patient involved in a road traffic accident. Whilst assessing the patient trapped upside down in a car in the middle of the night I was able to flip my Peli Torch on assess my patient fully with a good and effective light without having to try and balance a torch on an upside down dashboard or similar surface.

I am very pleased to have this neat and well-designed piece of kit and although the price may seem initially expensive, it is well worth it for the quality and degree of thought that has gone into the design, making it perfect for anyone working front line in the emergency services.

I had one of these in my old force, so I bought myself one when I transferred. It's so useful for writing stuff out, batteries last ages and it has a great warranty along with being very durable.

Couple of points, it's useful but not bright enough to be your only torch if you work in rural areas. Also, consider possibly getting a black one if you want to be stealthy, I bought the yellow in case I dropped it and couldn't find it.

fantastic bit of kit. stays on stabbie even when rolling around with people. lights up a massive area and is more effective than issued torches.
