The XGO Men’s Flame Retardant Phase 1 Boxer Desert Sand is a lightweight under garment featuring a blend of Modacrylic and rayon giving superior protection and flame retardance whilst keeping the wearer cool and comfortable over extended periods in warm climates.
'Phase 1 FR' : ‘Lightweight, moisture-wicking garment that has superior flame-retardant properties. Designed for use in warmer weather’.
In high threat situations comfort and safety are the two most important aspects that clothing can provide an operator. XGO’s Phase 1 FR garments are designed so that the user is kept cool and comfortable in intense heat. Adding the extra safety provided by fire retardance the blend of Modacrylic and Rayon gives the user peace of mind whilst working.
The FR treatment has inherent qualities which cannot be washed or worn out, and the Thermal Protective Performance values (after-flame, no-drip) exceed the USA’s National Fire Protection Association standards (ASTM D6413).
The XGO Men’s Flame Retardant Phase 1 Boxer Desert Sand also includes Ag47 silver anti-microbial protection. Silver is legendary for its anti-microbial and anti-fungal properties and has been ‘built-in’ to XGO’s products. As moisture passes through the fabric, Ag 47 Silver Anti-Microbials attack the bacteria contained in the perspiration and effectively eliminate odour and harmful bacteria--improving overall hygiene.
Ag47 silver anti-microbial protection keeps you odour-free allowing extended wear in endurance situations, and all of these properties are designed to endure for the life of the garment.
