Tuffking T55 Apex Composite Toe and Plate, Side Zip Boot

T55 by Tuffking is the new range of lightweight tactical and patrol products using innovative new materials.

Among the most versatile and comfortable boots on the market with side zip. Using our Xtra-Lite® footbed system, this triple layered military grade memory foam offers comfort for rigorous hours spent on foot. Comprised of completely METAL-FREE material, this boot offers fibreglass toecap with Kevlar midsole for the lightest weight protection. The cushioned and energy absorbing dual density PU/Rubber sole creates an added layer of comfort for long wear.

With the YKK Zip, this boot can be easily removed when on active duty, while offering secure ankle protection. Made with full grain water repellent leather specially formulated in the tanning process to keep feet dry, yet allow for breathability.

This boot performs in all weather conditions as it has been rigorously tested for Heat Insulation in cold temperatures and Cold Insulation for warmer temperatures, making it the most versatile boot on the market.

Manufactured in accordance with ISO 9001 Quality Management and ISO 14001 Environmental Management systems.

Good Price & Fit

Some discrepancy between UK size and European size. My yacht shoes are size 12.5 UK/48 Eur. So I ordered size boots in size 13 UK/48 Eur. When they arrived they were a very tight fit. I checked the label and it had 13UK/47 Eur! I returned them and requested an exchange for size 14UK/48Eur. They fit nicely and I’m pleased with my Tuffking T55 side zip boots. Lightweight as well.

Boot is very large fitting I am walking out of them slightly not an issue for my current job but if walking a lot they would not suit at all. They are well made and lighter than most safety boots and I find the leather more breathable than some of the modern materials. Only issue is the size as there is no half sizes I think a full size smaller would mean my toes hitting but the current size is too big for me. A chance I take by buying without trying.
